By pulling earth observation data from the NASA Terra Satellite and the ASTER instrument, we focused on the Mayacamas Mountains in Northern California. You can see the topographic grain clearly in the colors, the deep oxide red color is used for vegetation, Charcoal grey is used for scorched earth and inky obsidian color is used for water.
