Frequently Asked Questions
Which rooms are architecture posters suitable for?
Hallways, studios and living rooms work best, as straight lines and structures give the room order. In bedrooms and children's rooms, softer motifs tend to give a calmer feeling.
Is architecture suitable if I'm not interested in buildings?
Yes, many of the motifs are more about lines, patterns and shadows than about the building itself. You don't need to know anything about architecture to think that a poster is beautiful.
Can I get a poster of a specific building or city?
First, look under "Cities & map posters", where you will find maps of several cities. If you have your own photo of a building, you can print it yourself via "Create your custom photo".
Which size is best for detailed motifs?
Choose 50x70 or 70x100 cm if the motif has many fine lines, as the details are more visible large. For a hallway or a narrower space, 40x50 cm works well.
Should I choose black and white or color?
Black and white is the safest choice if you want a tight look that suits almost any room. Color works when you want a motif that lifts an otherwise neutral wall.
How do I hang a large poster so that it sits straight?
Put the poster in a frame, or use poster strips that hold both edges. Measure the middle of the wall, mark the hanging point with a light pencil stroke and use a spirit level. Our frames are available in black, white and oak, and in the same five sizes as posters: 21x30, 30x40, 40x50, 50x70 and 70x100 cm.
